Bill Gross has worked at SAGE for over 4 years. As SAGEPositive Program Manager, he is in charge of all HIV and sexual wellness programming including support groups, workshops, social events, and testing days. He is also Manager of the Friendly Visitor Program, supervising nearly 100 volunteers in ongoing weekly visits to isolated clients. Bill has worked with LGBT non-profits for almost 3 decades, starting as a volunteer HIV counselor at Philadelphia’s Mazzoni Clinic, and later running programs at Gay Men’s Health Crisis and Callen-Lorde Community Health Center. He sits on the New York City HIV Planning Council and is a founding member of the Long-Term Survivor Wellness Coalition, a collaborative of agencies dedicated to improving the lives of the HIV long-term survivor community. When not behind a desk, Bill has also enjoyed a career as a professional actor and singer, graduating from The Juilliard School, and performing at theatres in New York and across the country.
