SAGE Officially Launches SAGE Puerto Rico
In effort to expand its reach, SAGE officially launched SAGE Puerto Rico and established an LGBTQ+ older adult center in San Juan. SAGE Puerto Rico will provide an array of programs and services for LGBTQ+ community members over the age of 55. SAGE CEO Michael Adams, joined the head of SAGE Puerto Rico, William Labiosa, at the ribbon cutting ceremony in San Juan, on October 24, 2018. SAGE will be working with our newest affiliate be working to inform and influence the Puerto Rican landscape on LGBTQ+ older people through community-based, local and state advocacy efforts, and will provide leadership and education to organizations, service providers, the health care community, aging centers, retirement homes, and businesses on the aging LGBTQ+ population.
