We Refuse To Be Invisible

This year has reminded us that Pride is about so much more than sparkles and parades. From the Stonewall Riots to today, Pride is an opportunity for LGBTQ+ folks of every age, gender, race, and ethnicity to be visible – both for ourselves and for those around us who are reaching out for a community to belong to.

As we face the onslaught of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation and rising transphobic narratives, it is more important than ever to be proud of who we are and to show those who are not ready to be visible yet that they are not alone. This month, SAGE will be loud and proud in the streets, in the news, over zoom, and across social media. Join us!

There’s something for everyone this Pride Season!

One of the best ways you can support our community’s pioneers is to join our Action Squad. The Squad is a group of dedicated advocates committed to supporting LGBTQ+ and age-friendly policy change, and combatting those who seek to harm our community. This means signing petitions, sending letters, and making calls. Sign up to get simple, actionable steps in your inbox once a month.

If that’s not for you, check out some of these other great ways to get involved throughout the month of June!
