Irene Tsikitas, LMSW, graduated with her Masters in Social Work from Stony Brook University and has been working at LGBTQ+ nonprofit organizations in New York and Connecticut for over ten years. Irene started her career working at a SAGE affiliate overseeing older adult programming and before coming to SAGE National, Irene was responsible for the oversight of agency operations at her former employer, including youth and adult services, community engagement, and development. Irene is experienced in implementing, facilitating, managing, and evaluating programs as well as providing supportive counseling and case management to individuals, families and couples.
In her spare time, Irene enjoys spending time with her partner and pups, spontaneous road trips, international travel, visiting Disney parks, catching a beautiful sunset, and reading a good book. And unlike most people, Irene loves the cold weather!
