The National Center on LGBTQ+ Aging and the National Center on Elder Abuse partnered to create this guide spotlighting critical resources in recognition of the fact that the struggles many LGBTQ+ elders have faced may leave them at increased risk for elder abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation. The risk factors include social isolation, solo aging, past experiences with violence, harassment, and discrimination.
