This N.J. woman came out at midlife and wrote a book about it


Melissa Giberson writes that she was happily married, with kids, when she saw something that changed everything.

It happened about 11 years ago at her local YMCA. Having completed a workout and headed into the locker room, Giberson caught a glimpse of a woman.
