SAGE Central North Carolina seeks to strengthen individual and community development by identifying the needs and advocating for resources benefiting the diverse population of LGBTQ+ people, their friends and supporters within, and beyond, central North Carolina. In addition to advocacy work, SAGE Central North Carolina conducts a number of social and educational activities, including meals, support groups, drop-in centers, and educational workshops.

SAGE Wilmington of the Cape Fear Coast

Wilmington, NC

SAGE Wilmington of the Cape Fear Coast, a program of The Frank Harr Foundation, is dedicated to providing a haven for LGBTQ+ older people, and those who care for them. Discussion groups, educational seminars, and social activities are part of a larger goal of working with LGBTQ+ elders to become activists and community partners. SAGE Wilmington also provides cultural competency training to other groups in Southeastern North Carolina.
