Sophie is a Queer, first-generation college graduate originally from San Diego, California. In 2021, she graduated from University of California Santa Cruz magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies and a Minor in Jewish Studies. Shortly after graduation, she left California to begin her advocacy career at New York Legal Assistance Group’s LGBTQ Law Project as an Avodah Fellow Paralegal.
