Dr. Ryn Skultety is the former Executive Director of Openhouse, a nonprofit providing housing, services and community for LGBTQ seniors in San Francisco. In this role, Ryn led Openhouse to open San Francisco’s first LGBTQ+ welcoming affordable senior housing in partnership with Mercy Housing
In the summer of 2021, Ryn returned to her home state of Colorado to be closer to her aging parents and to allow for more room to run and play with her kids, Quinn and Nova. Since finishing her tenure at Openhouse and enjoying her new life in Colorado, she had been providing strategic consulting to community-based organizations including work with SAGE.
Inspired by SAGE’s vision for the future, she decided to join the team as a key strategic advisor and implementation leader on the SAGE Strategic Plan. Ryn ensures a synergistic and holistic strategy across the organization to manage Strategic Plan implementation and tries her hardest to make sure everyone has some fun along the way.
