Karen Cushing is the Business Development Manager for SAGECare, a division of SAGE. Karen’s responsibilities include reaching out to service providers who work with seniors and sharing with them the significance of SAGECare’s LGBTQ+ credentialing training. She is devoted to creating awareness for LGBTQ+ older people and believes in teamwork. As Helen Keller said, “Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much.”
Prior to joining SAGECare, she shared ownership of KCC Social Media. Prior to that, she was the Sales Manager for Mosquito Squad of Greater St. Louis. With a strong background in marketing and sales, she is ready to create awareness for LGBTQ+ older people.
She enjoys spending her spare time with her wife, Chris Cushing, and their two fur babies as well as walking along the beach, watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals.
