Denise Foy is the vice president of business operations for the Health Solutions Group at the American Medical Association. In addition to her high-profile healthcare experience, Foy has also held senior leadership roles in such diverse fields as recruitment software, wholesale, and retail food service. She has extensive experience in operations, finance, sales, marketing, and strategic planning.
Foy has a long history of community involvement, particularly with Chicago’s Center on Halsted (formerly known as Horizons Community Services), the Midwest’s largest LGBTQ social-service agency. For over 15 years, she served on the board of directors of this advocacy, support, and educational organization. She served on the Capital Campaign Committee helping to raise over $30 million to fund the building of the Center on Halsted Community Center. Recently, she received the Center’s highest recognition and was awarded their Human First Award. She is a founding member of the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center and is also a founding member and cochair of the LGBT Community Fund at the Chicago Community Trust.
