In 2018, SAGE celebrated the 40 Fierce Years of progress that the organization has experienced since our 1978 founding. But as this annual report amply demonstrates, SAGE didn’t treat this landmark anniversary as a moment to rest on our laurels. Instead, the past year has been a time of vital breakthroughs in SAGE’s mission to build a world where all LGBTQ+ elders have the opportunities they deserve. In 2018, we demonstrated that we’re building a lasting movement with and on behalf of LGBTQ+ older people.
