This Pride season SAGE is rousing our simple but powerful rallying cry:
We Refuse to Be Invisible.
We could not be in a more critical position as legislation sweeps the nation seeking to erase the presence and rights of LGBTQ+ community members, including our elders. So, we’re returning to our roots; making ourselves and our elders visible in the streets, on Zoom, across social media, and in the news.
We want you to join us.
One of the best ways to kick off Pride with us is by joining our Action Squad. Led by our advocacy team, the Action Squad is a list of involved advocates geared around taking action now. This means signing petitions, sending letters, and making calls. Sign up to get simple, actionable steps in your inbox once a month.
But the best way to join us, of course, is in community. All month long, we’ll be hosting and joining both in-person and virtual events where we can celebrate, support, and connect with the incredible individuals in our community. We hope to see you there!
Shining A Light on Trans Aging

In collaboration with Trans Equity Consulting, SAGE is launching the Trans Legacy Campaign, a gallery featuring prominent transgender elders in our community. Amidst the ongoing struggles facing trans elders and the community at large, this campaign aims to increase the representation of transgender elders and showcase what vibrant aging looks like. Visit our campaign page to learn more and share their stories.
