About SAGE Alaska

SAGE Alaska is helping to build a state where LGBT Alaskans can grow older with a sense of confidence, safety, and community.  We accomplish this through enduring and meaningful partnerships with constituents, allies, policy makers, businesses, and service providers.  We use a robust program of activity, advocacy, outreach, and education to accomplish our goals.

Identity is a statewide LGBT organization founded in 1977, based in Anchorage, Alaska.  Identity envisions a state where all Alaskans are free to express and be proud of their gender identity and sexual orientation.  Identity’s mission is to advance Alaska’s LGBT community through advocacy, education and connectivity.  These efforts are evident in all three flagship programs for youth, transgender, and older LGBT Alaskans.
