Getting Started
SAGEWorks can help you build the essential skills you need to be competitive in the marketplace. The first step is attending a mandatory SAGEWorks orientation. All orientations are held in the David Bohnett CyberCenter at The SAGE Center, 305 Seventh Ave., 15th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
After orientation, you will be eligible to attend a variety of workshops on job seeking, interviewing tips, computer skills and more. You will also be able to meet with a trained coach who can go over your resume and work experience with you, plan out next steps, give you hands-on assistance with AARP Foundation's WorkSearch, or refer you to a SAGEWorks community partner who can help you with further resources and possible job placements.
