The SAGE Center Advisory Council Update - as of 11/14/13

The votes are in and the ballots have been counted!  Congrats!  The new members of The SAGE Center Advisory Council are: Carol D.,Guy Lawrence A., Marilyn A., Pat P., Phil B., Rodney A., Sheila B., and Tony S.

The first Advisory Council Community Meeting will be held on Thursday, 12/19, 6:45-8:00 PM

This meeting is an opportunity for participants to learn what’s new at The SAGE Center and give their feedback.  All participants are encouraged to attend!

Advisory Council Statement of Purpose

The council is an advisory council for The SAGE Center, the DFTA-funded (Department for the Aging) Innovative Senior Center serving LGBT older adults throughout NYC. The council’s exclusive purview is The SAGE Center and its programs at its 305 7th Ave. anchor location, and its satellite sites in Harlem and Brooklyn. The purpose of the council is to provide input and feedback to staff about SAGE Center programs, services and procedures. The role of advisory council members is to speak with and represent the views of SAGE Center program participants, and work in cooperation with SAGE Center staff to effect positive change.
