Steve Jorgensen

Steve Jorgensen has been serving as SAGE's Chief Financial Officer since January 2012. Steve is a Principal and the Managing Director of N. Cheng & Co., a NYC CPA firm specializing in work with non-profit organizations. N. Cheng has been providing financial management and accounting services to SAGE since 2007.

Steve has extensive experience in leading and building strong organizations. In the past ten years, through his work at N. Cheng, he has served as the CFO of a diverse array of no-profits, building strong financial systems and supporting the management team. In the process, he has enabled N. Cheng to become an innovative leader in outsourced financial management services to nonprofit organizations.

Steve is deeply committed to the mission and challenges of the nonprofit world. Prior to working at N. Cheng, he served as an executive director of a multi-service NYC agency for 20 years. Steve has also presented on a broad range of financial management topics at national and regional conferences.
