Raul E. FloresCitywide Outreach Coordinator, The SAGE CEnter
In his capacity as The SAGE Center’s Citywide Outreach Coordinator, Raul is instrumental in creating linkages with aging service providers throughout New York City in support of collaborative relationships between The SAGE Center and area providers. He currently works with satellites in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island.
Before joining SAGE, Raul worked in the corporate sector, developing media campaigns, marketing studies and special events. A longtime volunteer in the LGBT community, Raul was a helpline telephone operator for Gay Men’s Health Crisis (GMHC). Raul was also part of Outreach Latinos for Obama—a voter registration campaign during the 2008 election.
In the fall of 2012, Raul was part of the team responsible for developing outreach for the “pay the writers” campaign by the National Writers Union, which led to the creation of the website www.paythewriters.org.
